Luke and Quinn

There are many simlilarities and differences between Luke and Quinn. These are just a couple of them. One difference bewteen Luke Skywalker and Quinn, is that Luke has no intention of suicide and Quinn does. Luke has a good life and he wouldn't want to ruin that. Because he's going to overthrow the Empire and defeat Darth Vador. Quinn doesn't come out and say it, but you can tell he wants to commit suicide because there is a gun in his glove compartment and he took his parents credit cards. Another difference between them is they both recieve and ultimate boon. Lukes is the lightsaber that Obi Wan gives him for training in becoming a Jedi Knight. Quinns ultimate boon is the money that he took from his parents. If he didnt have all of this money, he could've never road tripped to Vegas with Doug. One similarity between the two is that, they both have a mentor or a guide. Luke has Han Solo and Quinn has Doug. Doug goes with Quinn on the road trip through the desert and into Las Vegas, and Han Solo just serves as Lukes' guide throughout the entire movie. Han helps Luke destroy the Deathstar at the end of the movie. One more similarity between them is that, they both go through tests or ordeals in their story. Luke goes through Jedi training with Obi Wan, he also has to blow up the Deathstar at the end of the movie. Quinn has the test of not committing suicide and Doug helps him with this by just being there for him.
